About Us

The HAPHEM Project

As the brother intervention to the AISHA Project, the HAPHEM Project (the HIV/AIDS Prevention & Health Education for Men Project) is designed for African American men who may be at risk for HIV infection and are interested in protecting themselves and the women in their lives from HIV/AIDS.

HaphemOn a local, national and international level, men of African descent represent a very large part of our community infected with the HIV virus, due to a lack of education and information.

As a leader in the family structure, we have the responsibility to address this issue by stopping the spread of the virus and to care about people we love. Please visit our website in April 2007 for more information regarding the HAPHEM Project.
