As the brother intervention to the AISHA Project, the HAPHEM Project (the HIV/AIDS Prevention & Health Education for Men Project) is designed for African American men who may be at risk for HIV infection and are interested in protecting themselves and the women in their lives from HIV/AIDS.
On a local, national and international level, men of African descent represent a very large part of our community infected with the HIV virus, due to a lack of education and information. (Read More)

The AISHA Project means
The AIDS Intervention & Sexual Health Alliance Project
Modeled after The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s SISTA intervention, the AISHA Project (the AIDS Intervention and Sexual Health Alliance Project) is an innovate program developed for African American women in our service area.
On a local, national and international level, women of African descent represent the group that is most negatively impacted by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. HIV infection is 100% preventable and the AISHA Project is designed to help women understand more about HIV/AIDS, their personal risk factors, and ways they can protect themselves from the disease.
